Meet The Man Behind:

Hey! I’m Matt. I am a car enthusiast, a mechanic, and a mechanical engineer. My fascination with the world of automobiles started in my childhood, driven by a profound love for cars and the stories they hold. As a young child, I derived immense joy from crafting wooden car models and constructing remote-controlled cars, which laid the foundation for a lifelong passion.

As I entered my teenage years, that initial spark began to evolve into a roaring flame. It was through the restoration of vintage vespas that I found my gateway into the captivating world of mechanics, igniting a deep passion for the art of preservation and revival. The excitement of preparing these timeless automobiles for special events on enchanting routes only served to strengthen my profound connection to these rolling pieces of history.

With over two decades of practical mechanical expertise and more than ten years of experience as a specialized mechanical engineer in automotive CAD, I have refined my skills in crafting tailor-made vehicles that have made a lasting impact, including iconic projects for Red Bull. However, my true passion lies not only in engineering, but also in the art of restoration. I find great joy in taking forgotten treasures and transforming them into exquisite works of art.

Inspired by the memory of my dedicated father, who meticulously restored a WWII-era Willis army jeep and some other projects too, I approach each project with reverence for the vehicle’s history. My philosophy is rooted in authenticity, performance improvement, and the pursuit of timeless aesthetics. I strongly believe in augmenting the potential of machines while preserving their intrinsic nature.

This blog serves as my platform to share my passion and knowledge with all of you. My mission is to empower enthusiasts like you by providing valuable insights, insider tips, and practical guidance. Whether you’re starting your first project or you are an experienced mechanic, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Thank you for being a part of my journey.

Cheers,

Matt
